- Lynn Easton Andrews
A graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University, Lynn began her career in network television in New York City, working as an associate producer and producer for NBC (The Home Show), ABC (Good Morning America) and CNN News. After relocating to Charlottesville in 1989, Lynn began planning major corporate and social events and shortly thereafter founded Easton Events, a natural transition from her television production experience.
As Founder of Easton Events, Lynn directs all business operations and is the lead contact and designer for all major events contracted by the firm. During the past twelve years, she has produced important events for many Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations, and top-level social clients, including Abbott Laboratories, Merrill Lynch, The Citigroup Private Bank, Smith Barney, American Express, DaimlerChrysler, and the Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has staged events in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Palm Beach and internationally in Mexico, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Lynn's expertise is in orchestrating "high-touch" events that require the maximum attention to detail for demanding clients at the highest levels of corporate, charitable, and social America.
Lynn's most recent venture has been the opening of Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards with her husband Dean Andrews. Together they have built a boutique winery and a premiere event venue.
Before becoming a critical member of the Easton Events team, she worked in fashion for the renowned designer, Lela Rose, and later in development and special events with Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. With an inherent love for all things design and style paired with creative energy, extreme organization, and a drive for perfection, Augusta has found her home with Easton Events. Her design-oriented focus, enthusiasm, and superb management skills make her an invaluable asset to our clients. Augusta has executed over 40 weddings, private social events, and executive level corporate programs for Eli Lilly, Altria, PNC Bank, and National Fuel to name a few. Augusta is our printed material guru!
Lauren graduated from Duke University with a focus in Marketing, Management and Art History. She has worked in the non-profit events world in DC before using her creative skills and great attention to detail as a Washington DC event and wedding planner for the last four years; she has executed dozens of weddings and corporate events in DC. Most recently, she planned her own wedding with Easton Events (and she even took the power outage the entire day of the wedding in stride!) Lauren's enthusiasm, calm, perceptive organizational skills, and passion for design and aesthetics make her an essential addition to the Easton Team. She is our details connoisseur!
Libby joined the Easton team prior to graduating from the University of Virginia. After spending a year interning at Easton Events she was quickly promoted to the position of Event Manager. Since then she has executed dozens of weddings, social events, and executive-level corporate events. Graduating from the School of Architecture at UVA, Libby spent many days in studio where she was able to challenge her creatively and learn the value of precision. Before coming to Easton, Libby worked in New York alongside a fashion photographer. During her apprenticeship, she learned the valuable art of photo styling, a critical element of event design. Libby's impressive organizational abilities and high level of professionalism paired with her love for beautiful things and keen sense of style make her a critical component of Easton Events. She is our wedding blog stalker!
With over fifteen impactful years in the hospitality and meetings management industry, Amy spent the last decade crisscrossing North America as a Travel Director with companies including Easton Events, Planning the Globe, Pacific Communications, and BB&T, managing travel logistics and events for high-touch / high-profile clients and their guests. Prior, Amy was engaged for six years at Charleston Place, an Orient-Express Hotel, as catering and special events manager. Amy specializes in the small details... finds solutions to any challenge... and excels at being calm under pressure.
An administrative professional with over 30 years of experience in accounting and data management, Charlotte Drummond keeps Easton's many valuable vendors happy and our financial picture in sharp focus. With a BA in Social Work from UNC-Charlotte in 1977 and many years in database development, she also supports the Easton team with custom-designed data systems to track every step and item involved in planning and launching each event. Easton's databases are essential to our ability to manage every detail so the client remains our highest priority.
Charlotte has been with Easton Events since 2007 and came to us by way of Washington, DC, Palo Alto, CA, and the United Kingdom where, variously, she managed a financial services firm, subscription services for an international medical publication, women's shelters, and an American restaurant in London, among other ventures. Charlotte keeps us sane!
