Meredith and William’s Winter Wedding at Pippin Hill Farm

Meredith and William could not have been a more loving and considerate couple…the love they share for one another is contagious and it was heartwarming to see the uniting of two incredibly supportive families!

A beautiful palette of gray, blush, robins egg blue and spring green set the tone for this welcoming winter soiree. The granary at Pippin Hill was exceptionally aglow with beautiful candlelit chandeliers dancing throughout the ceiling. Speaking of dancing, Meredith and William’s guests had a magnetic attraction to the dance floor and the incredible sound of Right On. Following a surprising late winter storm, we were thrilled to be greeted on the morning of the wedding with just a light dusting of snow on the ground, bright blue skies, and the wonderful warm open hearts of our bride and groom…we could not have asked for a more memorable wedding!

Kennedy & Greg’s Wedding featured in Martha Stewart

What a magical day! Kennedy and Greg’s wedding at North Wales Farm in Warrenton, Virginia was truly that. We have been holding these beautiful images close to our hearts for months in anticipation of their exciting feature in Martha Stewart Weddings! We are so thrilled to now share more images from the wedding captured by the amazing Patricia Lyons.

The storybook setting is their family home and farm nestled in Virginia Hunt Country. The history of the home and the couple’s mutual love for the farm dramatically influenced our design and the layers of details throughout the wedding.

The ceremony took place in an unbelievable horse barn donning freshly cut tree branches from the farm and abundant seasonal blooms. After Kennedy and Greg exchanged their personally written vows, the guests were transported to the the Manor House for cocktails and dinner.

Cocktails were enjoyed on the back lawn among the magnolia trees admiring the bucolic view of the Virginia countryside. Guests were invited to find their table assignment by selecting their hand-calligraphed matchboxes, which inside held a note prompting them to “find their match”.

The dinner was entirely lit by 24 hanging candle chandeliers. The design was intended to be a feast for the senses with an eclectic mix of beautiful composed floral arrangements, curious objects, abundant candles, and bowls of exotic sweets, fruits, and nuts. The hand-hewn wood farm tables were gently polished with an airy open weave line, paired with upholstered chairs, and monogrammed napkins.

After the delicious locally inspired meal, the waiters passed small leather-tied scrolls to each of the guests inviting them to gather outside for a surprise. As the first guests made their way out of the tent, the night sky burst into a display of white fireworks. After a few minutes of enjoyment, we struck up the band and the after party in the dancing tent began!

We have been so lucky to plan with the Prentiss family for many years now, from Paige, the eldest daughter’s wedding, to Kennedy’s wedding, and most recently to the younger brother Michael’s rehearsal dinner celebration in Mexico. They are a warm, creative, thoughtful, and an absolutely delightful family! We so enjoyed spending time together while planning with Kennedy and Greg, and it is especially fun and rewarding to watch them as parents with their first baby boy.

Many many thanks to our incredible team!

Dallas Dinner Photographed by Ryan Ray

What a wonderful year of destination event travel for Easton! We were oh so lucky to spend the year planning with this adorable couple. Stefy and Michael are just returning from their honeymoon after an amazing wedding celebration in Mazatlan, Mexico over the Thanksgiving holiday. So by way of reminiscing, we thought we would share some photos from their spring Welcome Party at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas.

We channeled a clean modern aesthetic with mirrored table top, ghost chairs and simple clean lines of deconstructed florals. The palette inspiration for this dinner is a mix of reflective glass and tropical flowers. We especially love the menu detail printed on clear vellum. Ryan Ray did a splendid job capturing the couple and the event for us!

Many thanks to Martha Stewart Weddings for featuring Stefy & Michael’s party on The Bride’s Guide. Check out the post here!

Color Me Beautiful: Confetti Toss Exit Inspiration!

Confetti is one of those age-old details that remind us of carefree, summer days spent as children celebrating life’s joys.

Now, confetti can be as sophisticated as gold sequins in a monogrammed velvet pouch and as fun as rainbow-hued bits of flying paper sending a sweet bride and groom off! It’s a great alternative to sparklers!

Easton Events Charleston Opening Party at Zero George

We love a good party! A few weeks ago we had a delightful fete at Zero George, (co-owned by Lynn Easton Andrews and her hubby, Dean Andrews) with all of our favorite Charleston wedding vendors. Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, our fabulous wedding venue in Charlottesville, provided bubbly cocktails, and we loved connect with Charleston Stems for Florals, and La Tavola Linen. Huge thanks to Virgil Bunao for photographing for us and 42 pressed for our lovely invites! See more of opening party on The Wedding Row, The Charleston Wedding blog!

Featured in The Knot National Magazine with Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards

This spring we were honored to design and produce a fall inspired wedding photo shoot for The Knot national magazine.

We at Easton Events  love to collaborate with Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards (co-owned by Lynn Easton Andrews and her hubby, Dean Andrews) especially on a fabulous editorial shoot! :)

Pippin Hill, named Top 50 Wedding Venue by Brides Magazine, was chosen for its design, natural beauty and spectacular views. It is the perfect location for a destination wedding.

We drew inspiration from a muted fall palette with pops of pomegranate. We love layers, so we wrapped the table in hand-dyed muslin to create a lush and romantic table setting.
