Today’s real wedding incorporates just about everything that we as event planners love: a beautiful gown, sweet families, gorgeous white blooms accented with soft greens, picturesque views of the Virginia countryside, and overwhelming joy from the bride and groom. Farmington Country Club was the perfect backdrop for Marjorie and Ryan to celebrate their love. Once the band began playing, everyone continued to celebrate on the dancefloor until late into the evening when the party finally ended with a glittering sparkler departure.

Real Wedding: Alison and Joe

Taking place at the beautiful historic University of Virginia Chapel and then at Farmington Country Club, this wedding was elegant, classic, and absolutely gorgeous. The bride, Alison, looked stunning in a subtly beaded gown, while her bridesmaids brought a punch of pink to the wedding party. Dressed in black tuxedos, the groomsmen could not have looked more dapper. After the ceremony, the wedding party took photos on the picturesque UVa lawn and then headed off to a softly-lit reception. The band rocked until late in the night when Alison and Joe departed amidst glittering sparklers.

The wedding of Devon and Dan was classically Southern and oh so elegant. We just love the pink and navy color palette. All of the paper goods and signage were done in a whimsical calligraphy that spoke of Devon and Dan’s own fairytale story. The invitation begins “Once Upon a Time” and the wedding program concludes the story with “Happily Ever After.” Did we mention the adorable ring bearer carrying a handmade plaid ring pillow by the bride’s mother? So sweet. Devon and Dan’s wedding was also previously featured on Martha Stewart Weddings!
