More tomorrow on Once Wed…
The getaway car has become one of our favorite details of the wedding day. It leaves guests with a lasting impression of your event, and it can showcase some of the most beautifully styled details – floral wreaths, monograms, garlands, even sparklers. The getaway car is a timelessly romantic backdrop for your wedding sendoff.

We had the great opportunity to do a sweet little inspiration shoot with Gayle Brooker Photography in Charleston, SC! William Aiken House is absolutely stunning, and we are delighted to have our Charleston office just around the corner. So excited to be doing weddings there next year!
We love adding texture and layers to a table design. Pairing a crisp pleated white table linen with layers of colorful china adds a touch of whimsy to tradition. We especially love the clean lines and warm honey color of Snyder’s Lane Chair … hope you enjoy! xoxo Lynn

Lucy and Jason were married in late August at Farmington Country Club, located right around the corner from the bride’s family home. Despite the rainy day, the bride and groom had bright spirits and joyful hearts! The bride chose a palate of white, green, and touch of deep blue to give a special nod to the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountain view – very fitting for late summer! The groomsmen even wore green ties with fleur de lis, a nod to Jason’s New Orleans background.

We are in love with LulaKate! From the beautiful storefront with exposed brick and sweet details to the lovely ladies behind the dresses we love walking through their doors. We are so lucky to have our Easton Charleston office just steps away from this beautiful shop. Inspiring designers like LulaKate are just one of the many reasons we are so thrilled to be based and planning in Charleston.
We were fortunate enough to borrow the Gardner Dress for a shoot at our own Zero George the other week! The dress was stunning. Thank you LulaKate!
Last night we celebrated Augusta’s big move to Charleston with a little party at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard. We are going to miss Augusta so much, but are excited to know she is just a short flight away!

The tandem bike has had a resurgence in the past few years, and it’s no wonder: The bicycle for two is a sweet, simple symbol of love. Two people, moving together in sync, and heading toward a common destination. We love tandem bikes for engagement sessions, for an adorable bride and groom portrait session after the ceremony, or even for the getaway! Throw some gorgeous blooms in your basket and tie some ribbon to the seat, and you’ve got yourself a fairytale bicycle ride.
Devon and Dan celebrated their marriage at Farmington Country Club with their close friends and family! With a color palate of hot pink and navy blue, the bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed the part with pink dresses and navy ties… the ring bearer even carried a colorful ring pillow! From cocktails to the seated dinner reception custom pillows, furniture, and draping brought in the color scheme as well!
